Rio Grande Turkey hunting – Our turkey hunting is second to none! The number of birds in our area is unbelievable. In the fall of each year it is not uncommon for us to see as many as 200 birds in one group. When spring rolls around, these birds break into lots of smaller groups. This makes for some awesome calling followed by plenty of struttin’ and drummin’! The spring turkey season usually starts in the last week of March and goes thru the first or second week in May. We can accommodate groups of six or less. Most turkey hunters enjoy calling their own birds, therefore we let our guests make that choice themselves. We can provide as much or as little guiding as is desired. We follow the roosting and feeding habits of many different flocks of turkeys and we are very good at putting our hunters in the midst of these long beards. We sell our turkey hunts by the day. We provide meals, lodging, fully guided hunting, transportation to and from the field, and care of meat and trophies in the field. Our turkey hunts are $650.00. This price includes two turkeys and two days of hunting. Additional gobblers may be harvested for $100.00 each.
